Holiday Greetings Packsack Family!
The 2019 season was another season filled with excitement, adventure and many very meaningful memories. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all of you that visited us and supported us this last summer!
This last Fall we took advantage of a short-lived Indian Summer and spent a couple of days relaxing and taking in the wilderness along the Basswood River. We entered and exited through Mudro, traveling the Horse River. The river and some of the smaller lakes were popping with bright yellow Birch trees and stunning red maples. We could not have had better weather and are grateful for the time to be in the beautiful BWCAW wilderness!
There is much to look forward to in the coming months. The 2020 permit “Go Live” date is on Wednesday, January 29th at 9:00 am CST and the process, website (www.recreation.gov), etc. will be the same as 2019. Please let us know how we can be of assistance with your 2020 permit and planning needs.
Also beginning in January, is the Sport Show season! We will be hitting the road to talk about canoe trips, cabin stays and everything Packsack and the BWCAW! If you are in the area of one of these shows, we encourage you to stop by and visit with us about your upcoming adventure!
We hope that your upcoming holidays are spent with loving family and friends (and full bellies)! We look forward to seeing you all again in the next decade!
