For those of you who wish to take a more relaxed approach to a Boundary Waters MN camping trip, we at Packsack Canoe Trips offer a fully outfitted, First-Class Campsite Set-up package. With this package, we help portage you into any one of the qualifying lakes that you choose, provide camp set-up and can fully outfit with our gear and meal plans. This is a premier service designed to simplify your trip or make a BWCA trip very possible for those with physical limitations.

 

 

To begin, we have you choose what entry point and dates you would prefer and we will make sure permits are available. We’ll do much of the hard work while we help you get to your campsite – driving the boats and moving gear across portages. Assistance, of course, is very welcomed!

 

 

Once we get you to a great campsite and unload all gear, we send you out fishing while we set up your camp. The equipment that we send along is more luxurious than traditional Boundary Waters MN camping equipment. We provide you with large cabin style tents that come furnished with cots, Therm-a-Rests, heavy duty sleeping bags and large soft pillows. We set up a screened in dining tent where you will have the full comfort of cooking your own meals on a large 4 burner propane stove. We also provide tables and chairs for your dining convenience. The menu that we send along is upgraded from normal freeze-dried camp food to fresh meals every day and we will send along a cooler with Ice, to keep your fresh meals ultra-fresh and your beverages refreshingly cold.
