Here at PACKSACK Canoe Trips & Log Cabins we offer great fishing and opportunities for exploring the wilderness. We’d be happy to advise you on planning boating/canoeing/fishing DAY TRIPS. For those of you wanting to explore the wilderness, the options are endless! Guides are available.
A great way to explore and fish beautiful Fall Lake is with a relaxing day on our pontoon boat. Many of our guests enjoy watching the sunset and fishing from the end of our docks. We have numerous card and board type games available as well as yard games. PACKSACK has a campfire ring where stories, fish fries and smores RULE!!!

Ely is just three miles away; there PACKSACK’S guests can find numerous shops, a great variety of restaurants, movie theater, 9-hole golf course, community events and festivals. Numerous hiking and biking trails are nearby as is the Dorothy Molter Museum, International Wolf Center, North American Bear Center and the Ely-Winton History Museum.
